Elevate Your Automation Workflows

Firstly, we've supercharged our Automation Workflows. Now, you can dry run a workflow before executing it live. This minimizes errors and ensures your workflows run smoothly. We've introduced the ability to open, close, and request channels within an automation, streamlining your operations. Moreover, you can capture workflow logs and visualize them in a detailed flow diagram, a feature extremely beneficial for debugging.

Channel Purchases Made Easier with LSP Specification

We are excited to implement the LSP specification in Torq. This means you can now purchase channels directly within our user interface or within an automation flow. For instance, you can create a workflow that automatically requests a channel from the Deezy LSP.

Introducing HTLC Firewalls for Enhanced Security

For enhanced security, Torq V1.0 allows you to create workflows to firewall or drop HTLCs. This is a major breakthrough in providing force closure protection in high fee environments. It significantly reduces the costs associated with settling many pending HTLCs on-chain. Plus, you can set a maximum number of pending HTLCs to prevent a potentially malicious node from jamming your channels.

Simplifying Fund Movement Between Nodes

Torq V1.0 introduces a new feature designed specifically for enterprise operations that manage multiple nodes. With a simple click, you can now move funds between nodes either through Lightning Network (LN) or on-chain. This is a significant time-saver for large-scale operations.

Torq’s Paid Version: Ensuring Continued Excellence

While we continue to offer our services for free to small nodes, this release also marks the beginning of a new phase where Torq will be a paid service for larger nodes. Rest assured, we're offering custom packages for our early supporters, and we're eager to discuss these options. As a small startup, our aim remains to empower as many node operators as possible with Torq.

Other Noteworthy Features

Among the other new features introduced in this release are the Mempool API integration for fee recommendations and the connection status feature, which provides insight into Torq's internals, including data import updates. We also provide historical data on tagging and untagging channels. For more details on these and other features, check out our full release notes.

We are incredibly grateful for the support and feedback from the Lightning community, which has been instrumental in helping us refine our vision and turn Torq into the industry standard node management tool.

We invite everyone to explore Torq V1.0 and join us in our mission to take Lightning to the next level.
